About Us

We celebrated our 10th Year in 2016!  FLFAA is a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Rochester, New York.  Our mission is to enrich the lives of displaced cats and kittens and our primary focus is on curbing the cat overpopulation problem.

We believe in educating the public on the consequences of irresponsible cat ownership and empowering those who seek help with stray or feral cats. We aim to provide the community with the knowledge and tools needed to become proactive in the fight against cat overpopulation. All of our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

We are entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers and funded through private donations. We rely on a generous public to support our efforts.

We are currently a foster based network.

Our Mission for 2020

2020 brings new challenges and new goals for our group of dedicated volunteers. We will continue our mission of enriching the lives of displaced cats and kittens, finding homes for our current kitties in foster homes and helping to curb the cat overpopulation problem in Rochester New York. We will continue to build our foster network to achieve this goal. If you would like to join us please contact us via email or Facebook.

Please look for future emails and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep updated on exciting news that we have to share.

Thank you for your continued support.
